Dixon’s 600 win earns him USATF Athlete of the Week honors
INDIANAPOLIS --
Devin Dixon
(McDonough, Georgia) ran the sixth-fastest indoor men’s 600m ever by an American to earn USATF Athlete of the Week.
Dixon, the NACAC U23 champion at 800m last year, zipped to a 1:15.16 at the Texas Tech Invitational in Lubbock to become the No. 5 all-time U.S. 600m performer overall, and the No. 2 American collegian ever. He closed out the meet with a 44.91 anchor leg on Texas A&M’s 4x400 to lead the Aggies to a world-leading time of 3:02.77, just outside the all-time collegiate indoor top 10 list.

Shelby Houlihan —
Houlihan won the women’s mile at the Washington Invitational in a world-leading 4:23.68, making her the No. 6 all-time indoor performer in U.S. history.
Micaiah Harris —
Harris won the men’s 200m at the Arkansas Invitational with a world-leading 20.49.
Randolph Ross —
Ross clocked a world-leading 45.44 in the 400m at the Texas Tech Invitational.
Emily Lipari —
Lipari ran the world’s fastest women’s 5,000m of 2020 with her 15:07.44 at Boston. That time elevated her to #8 on the all-time indoor U.S. list.
Cory McGee —
McGee’s 4:04.75 to win the women’s 1,500m at Boston moved her to 5th on the all-time U.S. indoor list.
