USATF to release Black Lives Matter shirts benefiting Equal Justice Initiative
INDIANAPOLIS -- USA Track & Field will release a limited edition “Black Lives Matter” t-shirt on its online

with 100% of the net proceeds benefiting
Equal Justice Initiative
(EJI), USATF announced today.
The shirt features a silhouette of the 1968 medal stand silent protest by Americans Tommie Smith and John Carlos with Australian Peter Norman (wearing a human rights badge in solidarity), encircled by the words “Black Lives Matter - They Always Have.”
The Equal Justice Initiative is a nonprofit committed to challenging racial and economic injustices in the United States by addressing mass incarceration and excessive punishment. The organization was founded in 1989 by Bryan Stevenson, an acclaimed lawyer, professor, and author.
