World Athletics announces 2020 World Athletics Indoor Championships postponed

World Athletics announced today that the 2020 World Athletics Indoor Championships in Nanjing, China is postponed until March 2021.

In recent weeks, USATF monitored the situation in China closely, along with World Athletics, the USOPC and the CDC. We put the safety and well-being of our athletes first and fully agree with World Athletics’ decision to postpone World Indoors.

Television coverage is Friday, February 14th on NBCSN from 9:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. ET, with all competition on NBC Sports Gold and Saturday, February 15 on NBC from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. ET, and all competition on NBC Sports Gold.
